The prediction market space has gained a new heavyweight contender, FanDuel Predicts. In August 2025, FanDuel announced its partnership with CME Group to launch a new prediction markets platform. The product launched in five states in late December 2025 and expanded to 18 states in early 2026, including California. Not long after that, FanDuel Predicts went live in all 50 states, though it only offers sports-related markets in those original 18 states, meaning CA users can trade in those markets.

With FanDuel already familiar to many across the US thanks to its fantasy and sports products, FanDuel prediction markets will serve as a mainstream gateway to trading on events. In this FanDuel Predicts review, I’ve dug into all the details regarding the FanDuel Predicts app. Here is everything you need to know about FanDuel Predicts, from creating an account to what to expect once you start trading.

This FanDuel Predicts review provides a closer look at what the platform actually offers in practice, including its functionality, the types of event contracts available, and all the features it provides. Below, I break down the experience from onboarding and market access to fees, limitations, and how FanDuel Predicts compares with other regulated prediction markets.

FanDuel Predicts overall ratings | 3.9/5 stars

For this FanDuel Predicts review, I assessed the platform across the core areas that matter most for prediction market users, based on hands-on testing, platform features, and comparisons with other regulated event-based trading products. From market availability to app usability and account funding, here’s how FanDuel Predicts performs overall:

CategoryRating
Welcome Bonus & Other Offers4.0/5
Website & App Experience4.0/5
Available Trading Markets3.8/5
Funding & Withdrawing3.4/5
Customer Support4.2/5
Overall Rating (Average)3.9/5

FanDuel Predicts earns solid marks for its clean app design and familiar interface, although it lacks a web-based version of the site. It also performs well due to its access to mainstream sports and event markets, backed by a well-known brand.

However, the platform scores lower in areas such as ongoing offers and banking flexibility, as it currently offers no sign-up incentives and fewer funding options than some competitors. Overall, FanDuel Predicts delivers a reliable and approachable experience despite lacking some of the extras that help other prediction markets stand out.

FanDuel Predicts

Welcome offer at FanDuel Predicts | 4.0/5 stars

FanDuel Predicts currently offers a $25 welcome bonus for new users. The platform launches users directly into event-based trading with extra bonus funds to explore the platform with.

FanDuel Predicts welcome offer: How it works

At this time, there is a dedicated welcome reward for opening a FanDuel Predicts account that gives new users a $25 bonus without having to make a deposit or use a FanDuel Predicts promo code. New users who complete registration and verification have a risk-free way to test the platform and can begin trading event contracts immediately.

FanDuel Predicts welcome offer: How it compares

When compared with Kalshi and Polymarket, the difference in approach is clear. Kalshi offers a modest but clearly defined entry incentive to encourage first-time trading, and Polymarket starts new users with a bonus they can use to begin trading right away. Meanwhile, FanDuel Predicts relies on brand familiarity, platform integration, and a welcome bonus to attract users.

From a value perspective, Kalshi’s welcome reward offers a more accessible on-ramp for new prediction market users, especially those who want a small cushion while learning how event contracts work. The same goes for Polymarket’s sign-up bonus. FanDuel Predicts, meanwhile, may appeal more to users already comfortable with FanDuel who enjoy introductory incentives and want immediate access to event markets.

FanDuel Predicts ongoing promos

FanDuel Predicts takes a much more stripped-down approach to promotions compared to many other prediction market platforms. Currently, there is no dedicated rewards ecosystem built around ongoing incentives, which reflects FanDuel Predicts’ early-stage rollout and its positioning as a tightly controlled, regulated product.

That means that as of now, FanDuel Predicts does not offer the following features sometimes found elsewhere in the prediction markets space:

  • Referral bonuses: There is no refer-a-friend program or referral credit for bringing new users to the platform.
  • Demo or paper trading: FanDuel Predicts does not provide a simulated trading mode, meaning all activity requires real-money funding.
  • Interest or yield on balances: Idle funds and open positions do not earn interest or APY.
  • Market-specific boosts or contests: There are no temporary trading incentives tied to major sports events, news cycles, or seasonal promotions.

For now, FanDuel Predicts prioritizes a clean, no-frills trading experience over promotional layers. This may appeal to users who prefer simplicity and familiarity, especially those already comfortable with FanDuel’s other products, but it does mean fewer added perks compared to competitors like Kalshi.

How to sign up at FanDuel Predicts

Getting started with FanDuel Predicts is quick, but it currently runs entirely in the FanDuel mobile app, with no desktop version available. New users need to download the FanDuel Predicts app either from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).

Note that you can download the app in areas where FanDuel Predicts is not live yet, but you won’t be able to create an account unless you are in one of the active states. Luckily for California users, FanDuel Predicts launched in CA in January 2026.

User info, eligibility check

During registration, expect to be asked to provide standard account details, including an email address, phone number, and basic personal information, followed by identity verification. Because FanDuel Predicts operates as a regulated event contract product, this verification step is required before accessing markets or funding an account.

Since I already had a FanDuel account, FanDuel Predicts connected my new account with my current email and home addresses. I had to answer some other questions, too, including about my financial background, my income and employment status, and a few other demographic questions, as part of the eligibility check before being able to trade on FanDuel Predicts. I see these questions as a potential barrier to entry for some players who worry about their financial security.

FanDuel Predicts eligibility check

FanDuel Predicts eligibility check

There is no separate FanDuel Predicts promo code or eligibility confirmation tied to signup, since FanDuel Predicts does not offer a traditional welcome bonus.

Once verification was approved, I was able to fund my account using the available banking methods and start trading event contracts immediately. From downloading the app to submitting my first order, the full signup process took roughly 10 minutes.

Sites like FanDuel Predicts: FanDuel Predicts vs. Kalshi & more

FanDuel Predicts, and other sites like Kalshi and Polymarket, all allow users to trade event contracts tied to real-world outcomes, but the platforms take markedly different approaches to accessproduct scope, and overall user experience. Below is a side-by-side comparison highlighting where each platform stands today.

How FanDuel Predicts compares

Even though FanDuel Predicts is a newer product than some, it competes well with them both in terms of markets and liquidity. That isn’t the case as much with, say, Gemini or other new prediction market platforms.

FanDuel also benefits from offering a familiar and streamlined mobile experience for users already comfortable with the brand. Its markets are carefully curated and easy to understand, making it approachable for users looking for a simple entry point into prediction trading.

Right now, FanDuel Predicts offers more trades and markets than Polymarket, as the latter is only just getting established in the US and currently has only a few sports-related markets. Kalshi, by contrast, offers a broader market variety and a more flexible trading environment, which may appeal more to users seeking deeper exposure to prediction markets beyond sports-focused events.

FanDuel Predicts app & website experience | 4.0/5 stars

FanDuel Predicts is currently offered exclusively as a mobile product, with access limited to its standalone app rather than a browser-based platform. As a result, the entire user experience is designed around smartphone use, from onboarding to reviewing open positions and settling completed contracts.

FanDuel Predicts app review (iOS & Android)

The FanDuel Predicts app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Installation is quick, and once you log in, the app opens directly to active event markets rather than account settings or promotional screens.

The interface is intentionally simple. Markets are presented in a straightforward list format, with clear “Yes” and “No” contract options, visible probabilities, and transparent contract costs. This stripped-down layout makes it easy to understand what you’re transacting on without needing prior experience in prediction markets.

Navigation within the app is intuitive. Tabs let you quickly switch between available events, open positions, and account balances. Order screens clearly display contract size, total exposure, and potential payout before confirmation. During my testing, the app’s performance has been stable, with no notable issues. All the markets load quickly, and the updates refresh smoothly during active events.

Overall, the app prioritizes clarity and accessibility over advanced tools, which should appeal to users who want a low-friction way to trade on sports outcomes without unnecessary complexity.

FanDuel Predicts website (not available at present)

As mentioned, FanDuel Predicts does not currently offer a web-based or desktop version of its platform. All account management, funding, and event contract activity must be handled through the mobile app.

This mobile-only approach limits flexibility for users who prefer larger screens or browser-based research, but it also enables FanDuel to maintain a tightly focused and consistent experience across supported devices. As the product matures, it remains to be seen whether a desktop interface will be introduced. For now, FanDuel Predicts should be viewed as an app-first prediction market designed specifically for on-the-go use.

Trading markets at FanDuel Predicts | 3.8/5 stars

From what I’ve seen, FanDuel Predicts is taking a somewhat narrower approach to event markets than broader prediction exchanges like Kalshi. Rather than covering a wide range of real-world data and news categories, the platform focuses mainly on sports-based event contracts, with some other non-sports options also included.

The emphasis throughout is on simple, clearly defined outcomes, unlike some rival sites that dig deeper into more granular markets. This tighter scope makes FanDuel Predicts easier to understand at a glance, but it also limits variety for users looking to trade beyond athletic events.

Here’s how FanDuel Predicts structures its current market offerings:

  • Sports event markets: FanDuel Predicts centers on professional and major collegiate sports, and so far, the contracts appear to cover only game winners. Offerings are structured around straightforward yes/no propositions about game outcomes. Coverage includes major professional leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, as well as select college sports.
  • Financial and economic event contracts — These include major indexes such as the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100, as well as key economic data releases and broad financial indicators.
  • Commodities & crypto benchmarks: You can take positions on the price of oil, gas, gold, and cryptocurrencies.

As I noted above, the sports markets are available in CA but not in other states, including those where FanDuel already offers a sports wagering platform. Meanwhile, FanDuel Predicts has yet to delve further into political, economic, climate, or cultural markets found on other platforms, or at least I haven’t seen those as yet. This could change in the future.

Right now, what distinguishes FanDuel Predicts is not market diversity, but familiarity. By focusing on sports outcomes, the platform appeals to users who already closely follow teams, leagues, and seasons and want a structured way to express their opinions through event contracts.

Trading minimums are accessible, allowing users to transact in small amounts per contract, while maximum limits vary by event and are set by internal risk controls rather than exchange-wide caps. For users whose primary interest is sports-focused prediction trading, FanDuel Predicts offers a clean, approachable experience, albeit with a narrower scope than larger prediction marketplaces.

Banking: Funding your account and withdrawing at FanDuel Predicts | 3.4/5 stars

In states where FanDuel Predicts is currently live, the options for both funding your account and withdrawing are somewhat limited as of now. These options may expand in the future, but currently, there are only two banking methods available — debit cards and online banking.

Be aware that, like many other sites, FanDuel Predicts uses a “closed-loop” funding system, which means withdrawals are generally sent back through the same payment method used to fund the account. In practice, this means you’ll want to fund your account using a method you are comfortable with for withdrawals as well. This approach is standard for regulated platforms and helps support fraud prevention, identity verification, and compliance requirements.

Is FanDuel Predicts safe? | Licensing and regulatory oversight

FanDuel Predicts operates under federal oversight from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), offering event-based contracts within the US derivatives framework rather than under state gambling laws. That said, FanDuel is taking a state-by-state approach to making Predicts available.

As noted above, FanDuel Predicts launched in a few states in December 2025, then expanded to 18 states in January 2026. Soon after, it became available in all 50 states, although sports-related markets are only available in the original 18. Here are the 18 states where FanDuel Predicts offers all of its different markets, including sports markets:

Alabama
Alaska
California
Delaware
Florida
Georgia

Hawaii
Idaho
Minnesota
Nebraska
New Mexico
North Dakota

Oklahoma
Rhode Island
South Carolina
South Dakota
Texas
Utah

This measured expansion strategy reflects FanDuel’s intention to launch the product in ways that align with the regulatory posture required in each jurisdiction.

Site security and user protections

From a security standpoint, FanDuel Predicts benefits from the same account safeguards used across FanDuel’s other regulated products, including identity verification, account monitoring, and standard data protection practices. I’ve used FanDuel’s other products in the past, and I can say that with FanDuel Predicts, I feel equally comfortable that my information and funds are entirely safe and protected.

Combined with federal oversight and a cautious, state-by-state launch model, these elements position FanDuel Predicts as a compliant, consumer-facing event-trading platform rather than an unregulated prediction market.

FanDuel Predicts customer support | 4.2/5 stars

FanDuel Predicts offers a range of customer support tools designed to assist users within the app and beyond. However, dedicated support details specifically for Predicts can be somewhat intertwined with FanDuel’s broader support system. The product utilizes the same support infrastructure as other FanDuel offerings, providing users with multiple avenues for assistance if they encounter issues with their account, funding, or event contracts.

Here are the main support channels currently available:

  • Live chat: Accessible through the support portal, live chat enables users to connect with support agents for real-time assistance with questions and issues.
  • FAQ and Help Center: The support site features a dedicated section for FanDuel Predicts FAQs, covering common topics such as account access, deposits, withdrawals, and troubleshooting.
  • Email support: Users can submit issues via the general FanDuel support email/contact form, which is monitored with typical response windows of 12–24 hours.
  • Social media: FanDuel also supports customer outreach through its official support handles on platforms like X (Twitter) and message options on social channels, although these are shared across all FanDuel products.

Support quality is generally solid thanks to FanDuel’s large, centralized support team, with live chat often providing the fastest responses. However, because Predicts is still new and support resources aren’t always labeled exclusively for Predicts, users may initially navigate FanDuel’s broader help framework before being directed to product-specific answers.

Overall, FanDuel Predicts offers all of the core support options most users expect, but the shared support with other FanDuel products might make it less immediately clear that assistance is available specifically for the prediction markets app.

FanDuel Predicts reviews | What others are saying about the FanDuel Predicts app

As noted, the FanDuel Predicts app is quite new, having only launched near the end of December 2025. Reviews and ratings are only just starting to trickle in at the App Store and Google Play. Early numbers indicate an average rating of 3.0 out of 5 stars on the App Store, with no ratings listed yet on Google Play. Nor are there any reviews yet at other review sites such as TrustPilot.

Some long-form reviews of the app have been published on various sites. These have highlighted FanDuel Predicts’ strengths, including the app design and customer support. When it comes to negatives, most mention the lack of bonuses and promotions, as well as general confusion about how FanDuel Predicts differs from other FanDuel products.

We’ll keep an eye on how users respond to FanDuel Predicts and share those evaluations here when they become available.
