If you are looking for a reason to check out Sky River Casino this summer, here it is.

On Aug. 28, Sky River Rewards members will get first crack at Aristocrat’s newest game, Chief Inferno, with an exclusive free slot pull and prize drawing.

Sky River Casino, which opened its doors three years ago, is already home to 2,190 slot machines and 82 table games. Big-name favorites like Dragon Cash and Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion fill the floor, and now Chief Inferno is joining the mix.

The casino gets bragging rights as one of the first California casinos where players can try it out.

What players can expect

Aristocrat has not revealed every detail, but early peeks suggest that Chief Inferno will include free games, multipliers, and a progressive jackpot element that can grow to serious levels.

In other words, it is the type of slot that can keep you spinning whether you are a casual player or someone who loves going after those jackpot-style wins.

Sky River Casino President Michael Facenda said this is just the beginning.

“We continue to lead the way in Northern California when it comes to adding exciting, Las Vegas-style gaming options for our guests. And we’re just getting started. We look forward to sharing future innovations and additions that further complement the wide variety of elevated entertainment and delicious dining we have to offer.”

Aristocrat Gaming CRO Kurt Gissane agreed.

“The Chief game family continues to grow, and we’re pleased to partner with Sky River to introduce the all-new Chief Inferno.”

Numbers up in Sacramento

While California online casinos are still off the table in California, land-based operators are making the most of it by building luxurious resorts and adding big-time slot machines.

By all indications, California’s tribal casino industry is red hot.

The National Indian Gaming Commission recently reported $43.9 billion in tribal gaming revenue for Fiscal Year 2024, up 4.6% from the previous year. The Sacramento region, where Sky River sits, was the second-best-performing market in the state.
