Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage is rolling out the red carpet for its poker room grand reopening this weekend. The Coachella Valley gaming venue will debut its updated poker room on Nov. 22 and 23.

Since opening in 2001, the poker room at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage has stood alone as the only California poker hotspot in Southern California. After shutting down for a five-month makeover, it reopened its doors with a soft launch on Nov. 11.

Following its renovation, the poker room has increased its capacity, offering nine gaming tables and 81 seats.

Several other tweaks of the revamped poker room include its working hours. Now, the poker room’s hours in the Southern California casino provide flexibility for both daytime and nighttime players.

  • Sundays to Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Ahead of the opening, the Agua Caliente Casino already has its events lined up for the thrill of customers who will avail themselves of the facility.

The inaugural festivities begin on Nov. 22 with a live performance by Kevin Costner at 8 p.m., while the Beach Boys perform on Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m., with tickets priced at $96.

Agua Caliente’s new poker room promo features $50 bonus pots up for grabs

With a new facility comes reward perks, and the poker room at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage is bringing buzz to its tables with the “Splash The Pot” re-grand opening weekend poker promotion.

This will reward live poker players with an additional $50 in live gaming chips every 30 minutes, starting at 1:15 p.m. each day.

To get started, a poker cashier or floor supervisor will deliver $50 in gaming chips to each active live poker table, which will then be added to the pot.
