True to its roots, the California-based social casino platform Sparket now offers another legal iGaming offering. Its new sweepstakes game, FunPicks, is the result of a partnership between Sparket and Sportzino, a social online sportsbook.
Sparket’s software was designed with maximum flexibility to integrate into other existing products and engage with all audiences. This flexibility is paramount to creating avenues for players to legally participate via California sweepstakes casinos.
Evan Fisher, the co-founder of Sparket, confirmed that Sportzino was its first sweepstakes partner. Fisher told PlayCA that he is excited about how the product will highlight Sparket’s capabilities.
“This partnership will allow us to really lean into the alternative content categories that make Sparket so unique,” Fisher said. “Sportzino’s ‘FunPicks’ as our product is called, will feature prediction pools across reality TV, pop culture, alternative sports, and unique bet types on traditional sports (like Battle of the QBs).

FunPicks is about making picks just for fun
FunPicks is the newest offering at Sportzino, an online sweepstakes sportsbook and casino. It allows players to pick the outcome of various current events, such as:
- Politics, such as election outcomes
- Reality TV shows and competitions
- Sports and choosing player propositions
- Pop culture
Sportzino’s social casino offers many of the same favorites players can find at California tribal casinos. Sportzino’s sportsbook allows players to pick their sides on the outcomes of various sporting events, including point spreads and over-unders.
The sweepstakes model allows players to sign up and participate in free competitions using Gold Coins. These competitions award Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, which players can redeem for cash prizes or gift cards.
