California Casinos Celebrate The Super Bowl In Style

California casinos have you covered for the Super Bowl

Even though Californians will not be able to participate in the sports betting festivities surrounding Super Bowl Sunday, casinos throughout The Golden State are preparing to throw parties to celebrate the big game.

Super Bowl LVII kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 12 from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles

Several casinos want you to watch the Super Bowl at their venues

Both propositions on California sports betting failed in last year’s election. According to estimates from PlayCA, the state would’ve received about $2 million in tax revenue from Super Bowl betting alone if sports betting was legal.

If you’re still looking for something to do, check out the following casinos’ parties and get in on the fun. For more details, visit the casino websites or call them directly.

Agua Caliente casinos

The 360 Sports locations in all three Agua Caliente casinos are hosting parties, with the Big Game package ($125) being the admission ticket. The package includes a $25 food and beverage card, $50 free play, preferred seating and gameday giveaways.

Two free watch parties are available at the following locations:

  • Cathedral City: At Agave Caliente Terraza, at 2 p.m., with food, free play drawings and fan giveaways. Beer-tasting bracelets are available for $25.
  • Rancho Mirage: At The Show, open to all ages at 2:30 p.m. Food and drinks are available for purchase, and reservations are recommended.

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

Chukchansi Gold has the Fresno area covered, with seven casino bars showing the game.

Three Peaks Bar and Fireside Lounge, especially, have food and cocktails and multiple giant-screen TVs.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

The Topgolf Swing Suite has private view parties for its guests. The game will also be on throughout the casino floor and at all bars on-site.

Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa

Morongo has several options for Super Bowl Sunday, including The Big Game Blitz at Grand Morongo Ballroom. Tickets are available for $60 online and include food, raffles all game long and several souvenirs.

Rewards members in attendance can win up to $500 in cash and a shot at $10,000 Big Game Bonus Hot Seats every time a team gets a turnover, sack or scores.

The Sideline Bar will offer free viewing on a 30-foot-high video wall. KROQ’s Beer Mug will host the party, where prizes such as Bear Mountain lift tickets will be awarded after each quarter.

Soboba Casino

Soboba Casino: A dozen former NFL professionals will be at the Big Game Party inside Soboba Casino’s Cabaret Lounge

A $42 ticket gets you access to the party, two drink tickets, two food tickets, one raffle ticket and player pictures and autographs throughout the game.

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino

If you’re looking for a pool party, head to Yaamava’ Resort & Casino’s Pool Deck, starting at 1 p.m. Get your fill with activation stations, a buffet, free play and memorabilia drawings, and $1,000 cash payouts whenever either team scores a touchdown. Tickets cost $35 after fees.

If you want to stay dry, do so at The 909 Sports Bar + Food Hall, where the game will be on a 50-foot by 12-foot wall. Food will be plenty, and beers will be flowing, including 32 craft beers on tap.
