Whether it’s spring break or just a quick weekend refresher, you’ll have plenty of performances at California American Indian casinos to choose from to plan your getaway.

Below are some of the best concerts and performances scheduled for this month at Golden State casinos.

Charlie Wilson, Thunder Valley Casino Resort (March 4)

Where? Lincoln, California (108 miles northwest of Oakland)

Charlie Wilson is a legend in the R&B and blues and soul community. His career spans 50 years and includes four platinum albums as a member of the Gap Band, various solo albums and multiple Grammy nominations.

The Beach Boys, Thunder Valley Casino Resort (March 18)

Where? Lincoln, California (108 miles northwest of Oakland)

The Beach Boys are arguably the most iconic band of all time, selling more than 100 million records worldwide. The group has the most chart-topping songs of any band and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

Jeff Dunham, Thunder Valley Casino Resort (March 24)

Where? Lincoln, California (108 miles northwest of Oakland)

Jeff Dunham is one of a kind in the comedy arena, making a career from meshing his edgy comedy with his ventriloquist abilities. His current tour includes new characters in addition to his fan favorites Peanut, Walter and Bubba J. If you haven’t had a chance to see his unique style in person, now is your chance.

Jim Gaffigan, Yaamava Resort & Casino (March 3)

Where? Highland, California (65 miles east of Los Angeles)

Jim Gaffigan boasts one of the most decorated careers of all time for any comedian. He has been nominated for a Grammy six times, and he has authored two New York Times best-selling books. If that isn’t enough to convince you to check out his show, he is also a three-time Emmy winner and a multi-platinum-selling comedy record artist. 

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa (March 3)

Where? Cabazon, California (90 miles east of Los Angeles)

George Clinton has been an active performer for nearly 70 years. He and his band are trailblazers in the funk genre, producing more than 40 hit singles and three platinum albums. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Sheryl Crow, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino (March 4)

Where? Indio, California (129 miles south of Los Angeles)

Sheryl Crow is one of the most successful country music artists in the world. She sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and has won nine Grammy awards. She is currently a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee and will without a doubt earn her bid at the conclusion of voting. 

Genuine, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa (March 10)

Where? Cabazon, California (90 miles east of Los Angeles)

Genuine is one of the top R&B artists from the 1990s. He accumulated top-charting singles and multi-platinum albums during the peak of his career and still has a core following present day. He is a Grammy-nominated artist and has collaborated closely with musical acts such as Missy Elliot and Timbaland

Ja Rule and Ashanti, Yaamava Resort & Casino (March 16)

Where? Highland, California (65 miles east of Los Angeles)

Ja Rule and Ashanti were two of the biggest entertainers in the early 2000s. Both were signed to the same recording label for quite some time and made multiple chart-topping hits together. Both are Grammy nominated, with Ashanti having won the award.  

Kool and the Gang, Spotlight 29 Casino (March 24)

Where? Coachella, California (80 miles east of Riverside)

A legend in the R&B and funk world, Kool and the Gang has sold 70 million albums worldwide and has released multiple chart-topping songs. “Get Down On It” and “Celebration” are known by almost anyone familiar with funk. Kool and the Gang has also won two Grammy awards, and the group has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Walker Hayes, Spotlight 29 Casino (March 31)

Where? Coachella, California (80 miles east of Riverside)

Walker Hayes blew up in late 2021 and early 2022 when his single “Fancy Like” went viral on TikTok. It reached as high as No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart. It was on the Billboard Hot 100 for a staggering 45 weeks. Beyond that, you may have also heard “AA” — that was also on the Hot 100 in early 2022.
