Spring is in full swing, and the shows and performances at Golden State casinos are picking up steam.

Multiple musical legends and comedic juggernauts are taking the stage at California tribal casinos this month. With the first quarter of 2023 now in the books, now is a great time for a little relaxation. We compiled a list of some of the best performances in the state this month for you to consider attending.

April Concerts at Northern California Casinos

Sting, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento (Wednesday and Thursday, April 12-13)

Where? Wheatland, California (41 miles north of Sacramento)

Sting requires no introduction, but a few of his accomplishments include six Grammy Awards with his band, 11 Grammy Awards as a solo artist, a Golden Globe, and an Emmy. He has also sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. This is your chance to see one of the most decorated and accomplished musicians of your lifetime live!

Boyz II Men, Thunder Valley Casino Resort (Friday, April 7)

Where? Lincoln, California (108 miles northeast of Oakland)

Boyz II Men is one of the last great acts from the legendary Motown records. The R&B group is one of the most accomplished in the genre’s history. They’ve earned four Grammy Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, and nine American Music Awards. Their style is unparalleled to this day, so they still draw a great crowd. Get your tickets now to see them in action.

An Evening with Third Eye Blind, Thunder Valley Casino Resort (Friday, April 14)

Where? Lincoln, California (108 miles northeast of Oakland)

The Third Eye Blind Band started in San Francisco, so you’re in for a hometown performance with this one. The band’s debut album was released in 1997 and went blue certified platinum six times. The band was thrown into stardom at that moment and never looked back. From “Jumper” to “Never Let You Go,” the band will be nearby and bringing all their classics to the big stage at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

Golden Boy Boxing: Angel Acosta vs. Angelino Cordova, Fantasy Springs Resort (Thursday, April 6)

Where? Indio, California (129 miles south of Los Angeles)

Boxing fans are in for a good one. The former light flyweight champion Angel Acosta currently sits sixth in the WBO rankings for his division. The title for the division is currently vacant, and this fight could help Acosta move up in the rankings. He is coming off a knockout victory a little less than a year ago and looking to add to his streak.

He’ll have his hands full with the young up-and-coming heavy hitter in Angelina Cordova, who is 17-0-1 with 12 KOs. If you’re a boxing fan, this is a great opportunity to get up and close for a good matchup.

Maluma, Yaamava Resort and Casino (Thursday, April 27)

Where? Highland, California (65 miles east of Los Angeles)

Maluma is one of the biggest Latin artists in the world at the moment. He earned his first No. 1 track on the Billboard charts when he was just 21, and he is still building on his success. Now, he is a global act, compiling 20 No. 1 singles and averaging 35.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His show is sure to sell out, so grab your tickets fast.

Chelsea Handler, Yaamava Resort and Casino (Saturday, April 29)

Where? Highland, California (65 miles east of Los Angeles)

Chelsea Handler has become one of the most successful comedians in the business. She has her hands in everything from talk shows to books and stand-up comedy. She recently released a stand-up special on Netflix that debuted to much success, and she is already bringing her new act to the big stage.

Zac Brown Band, Yaamava Resort and Casino (Sunday, April 30)

Where? Highland, California (65 miles east of Los Angeles)

The Zac Brown Band is one of the most successful country music groups of the 2000s and is still raking in success. The group’s first four albums all are certified platinum and produced six platinum singles. The Group has won three Grammy Awards and various Country Music Awards. When you think of Country music, the Zac Brown Band is one of the first to come to mind.
