Cahuilla Casino just launched an avant-garde rewards system

Tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, Cahuilla Casino Hotel is a hidden treasure. Its remote location belies a modern, full-service entertainment venue. To prove it, Cahuilla Casino just launched an avant-garde rewards system.

Twenty-two tribes currently operate 25 Southern California casinos. The Cahuilla Band of Mission Indians operates Cahuilla Casino Hotel in Anza, CA. The tribe opened its new hotel and casino in 2020 to replace the old casino that opened in 1996.

The operation features a 14,000-square-foot gaming floor with 353 slot machines and four table games. It also boasts a four-story hotel with 58 rooms. The venue includes a 7,000-square-foot outdoor event space and a restaurant, the Ribbonwood Grill.

Passport offers a one-of-a-kind platform

The tribe chose Passport Technology to create a state-of-the-art loyalty and rewards program. In selecting Passport’s Lush loyalty and rewards platform, Cahuilla taps into a dynamic system.

The platform promises to increase player enrollment, engagement and point redemption through customizable games, and promotions and offers. The jewel of the deal is the Mira enrollment kiosk.

John Straus, general manager of Cahuilla Casino Hotel, couldn’t be more pleased:

“Here at Cahuilla Casino Hotel, we strive to incorporate innovative technology to enhance our guests’ experience. With the Lush loyalty platform, we now can offer our players a multi-functional self-service kiosk with state-of-the-art capabilities to include a new enrollment, card reprints and interactive promotions in a one-of-a-kind single platform.”

Lush is the industry’s first HTML, cloud-based, loyalty and rewards platform. One of the snazzy aspects is that it can be customized with branding, virtual draws, multipliers and patron-specific promotions. It’s all done through Lush’s secure web application.

The Southern California Casino Offers A new level of customer service

Cahuilla guests will benefit from several self-service features through the Lush kiosks. Some include player club enrollment, card reprints and also dynamic offers.

Other perks patrons can also take advantage of are configurable gifting options and the first Earn and Shop redemption portal. Patrons can redeem points instantly for e-gift cards, physical cards and real merchandise.

With the tech upgrades, Cahuilla is sure to offer a new level of customer service to enhance loyalty. Passport Principal Consultant Digital Wallet Diallo Gordon touted the system:

“Cahuilla is not only getting a robust loyalty platform to engage patrons, but a cloud-based solution built on security, flexibility and open architecture.”

Passport a leader in technology-based solutions

CEO of Passport Technology Cleve Tzung believes this partnership with Cahuilla will prove fruitful for both companies:

“We’re delighted to work with Cahuilla on the launch of Lush. We designed Lush to be easy for the casino operator to customize with many tools and features to heighten patron engagement and rewards. A more engaging customer is a more loyal customer. Lush is a good example of how Passport is developing products that take key functions of a casino floor to higher levels of performance and value.”

Over the years, Passport Technology has become a leading developer of technology-based solutions. It develops platforms and services for highly regulated payments, gaming and also financial services markets.

The company’s portfolio includes a plethora of products. There’s redemption kiosks, quasi-cash, check warranty, ATM, digital payments, and cash and cashless integrations. There’s also casino automation, regulatory compliance solutions, bank-sponsored transaction processing, and server and web-based analytics.

With its gaming licenses and payment sponsorships, Passport has settled over $45 billion to casinos around the world.

Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel in Rochester, WA, also partnered with Passport Technology recently. Guests at that resort can also use Passport’s CashStream kiosk to gain access to cash on the gaming floor.
