Pechanga Resort Casino in Southern California has teamed up with the Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip to offer incentives to cross-border players. Pechanga is California’s largest tribal casino, while the Venetian has been a Nevada tourist destination since 1999.

In a press statement, Danny Ruiz, Chief Gaming Officer of the Venetian, spoke on looking forward to welcoming guests from Pechanga Resort Casino.

“We are excited to welcome Pechanga guests to The Venetian Resort and providing our Venetian Rewards guests to experience Pechanga, a top casino destination in Southern California.”

This will be the first time a major Las Vegas Strip casino has joined forces with a tribal-owned and-operated resort for a marketing agreement. Guests can now earn and redeem rewards across the Venetian and Pechanga Resort Casino as a result of the integrated loyalty program.

Partnership comes with cross-resort rewards

What the deal means for an integrated loyalty program is that the rewards member from both the Pechanga Band of Indians and Venetian Resort will have access to use their loyalty in any of the facilities in which they find themselves.

Ruiz noted:

“Together, we’re offering our guests exclusive perks and seamless access to experiences at both destinations and a chance to enjoy the best of both worlds like never before.”

Other perks to be enjoyed by reward members also include having

  • VIP invitations to events
  • Promotions
  • Resort amenities and more

In a similar arrangement, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and Yaamava’ Resort & Casino were first on board in the joint rewards program. The only difference is that they are both owned by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

Pechanga and Venetian tiered loyalty programs

The Pechanga Resort Casino rewards program features two key components. They are Status Points and Club Dollars.

The southern California casino four membership levels:

  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Red

Status Points, earned through gaming activity, determine membership status, and requirements range from entry-level Silver (0-49,999 Tier Points) to elite Red (250,000+ Tier Points).

With slight differences comes the Venetian Resort Reward Program, and with its five membership levels are:

  • Jade Tier (0-2,999 points)
  • Sapphire Tier (3,000-19,99 points)
  • Ruby Tier (20,000-49,999 points)
  • Diamond Tier (50,000+ points)
  • Chairman Tier (strictly by invitation)

For now, both casino teams have settled on a one-year initial contract, with the option to renew down the line. It is likely that will be based on the progress of the first-year deal.

Ken Perez, President of the Pechanga Development Corporation noted:

“Our team at Pechanga is always looking for unique and truly special ways we can deliver incredible experiences and luxury to our guests. We’re looking forward to this partnership with such a respected and sought after brand as The Venetian Resort in the Las Vegas hospitality and casino landscape.”

Pechanga Resort Casino is currently among the largest casinos in California.
