Red, white and blue. And a little green. California casinos have unfurled several promotions for the Fourth of July.
Of course, all promos are at tribal, retail casinos since California online casinos are not legalized. Maybe by next year’s Fourth of July.
As this Independence Day approaches, many California casinos are celebrating the star-spangled holiday with a variety of promotions. Everything from money to shirts and cars are on the table at casinos across the state. Keep in mind that any free gifts offered by casinos are available only while supplies last.
Lots of slots at Eagle Mountain
Porterville’s premier casino, Eagle Mountain, is hosting a $15,000 slots tournament on the 4th. At 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m., the casino will randomly pick 10 Summit Club members to compete in a slots tournament.
Patrons can enter the random drawing by earning one entry for every 10 tier points they earn from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4.
Chumash features special drawing for Jeep
Throughout July, Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez is running a “Weekly Wheels” promotion. One loyalty club member will win a Jeep Gladiator. The drawings typically take place on Sundays, but the casino is doing a special drawing on July 4.
The Weekly Wheels promo also includes drawings for $50,000 in free slot play from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
Chumash is also hosting an Independence Day bingo tournament. Starting at 1 p.m., players can purchase $29 and $48 buy-ins for 12 regular session games that pay $500-$1,000. Free daubers are available while supplies last.
Black Oak offers Pepsi for your BBQ
Black Oak Casino Resort’s promotion isn’t quite as lucrative as other casinos. But the promotion at the casino in Tuolumne is perfect for anyone planning a Fourth of July barbecue.
The casino is giving away free Pepsi 12-packs in the Willow Creek Lounge from noon to 6 p.m on July 3 and 4.
Free T’s on River Rock’s menu
Some people lose their shirt gambling, but that won’t be an issue at River Rock Casino on July 4 from noon to 8 p.m. The casino in Geyserville is giving out free Independence Day T-shirts to veterans and active military personnel at the Platinum/Gold Services desk.
Loyalty club members can get the free shirt by earning 250 tier points from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 4th.
Thunder Valley’s gift is a mystery
Starting at noon on July 4, Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln will give a special Independence Day commemoration gift. It goes to the first 400 Thunder Rewards members who earn 400 points.
The casino hasn’t provided details about what the gift will be. Other promotion prizes during the month include a toiletry bag, tech organizer and travel accessories kit.
Free slots tourney could earn bucks at Twin Pine
Those who know how to spin up some magic on the slots should visit Middletown on the 4th. Twin Pine Casino & Hotel is hosting a Fourth of July $5,000 Freedom Slot Tournament. The tourney will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free to enter.
Players with the five highest scores during the tournament will win a share of the $5,000 pot.
Pop some balloons at Wanaaha
Wanaaha Casino in Bishop is taking a decidedly different turn than most casinos for the Fourth. The property is hosting a weekend-long Independence Day celebration featuring several events.
- A Red, White and Blue Balloon Bust at 9 p.m. on Friday
- $100 hot seats every fifteen minutes from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, with a bonus drawing at 10 p.m.
- A live DJ taking requests from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday
- A broadcast of UFC 276 that includes UFC gear giveaways and a happy hour
- $100 cash hot seats on July 4 every 15 minutes from noon to 5 p.m.
- A barbecue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Independence Day
The balloon-popping prizes range from $15 in cash up to $300.
Bingo specials top Viejas’ Fourth features
San Diego’s Viejas Casino & Resort has added a pair of special events for the Fourth. There’s also bingo promos on July 3.
In addition to its hot seat and pick-a-duck promos on July 4, the casino is running $800 matinee and $1,199 evening bingo sessions. Also, Viejas is running a “hot dog and hot seats” promotion for MyViejas loyalty members.
On July 3, the casino is offering $30 and $60 “Splash Into Summer” bingo buy-ins for games paying out $750 and $1,000, respectively.
