Live Music at Jamul Casino
Located near San Diego, Jamul Casino will celebrate the start of 2022 with several different events. This includes a party at The Rooftop beginning at 9pm to countdown into the New Year.
While that gathering will be 80’s-themed, revelers can expect a different vibe at the JIVe Lounge, where the Frankie Fontaine Band will play Top 40, R&B, and Latin tunes well into the night.
Finally, Loft 94, an Asian restaurant on the property, will have DJ Yuko on the one’s and two’s beginning at 7 pm.
Agua Caliente Casinos host trio of parties
Agua Caliente runs casinos in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and Cathedral City, and those looking to celebrate can attend events in each location. Dance parties with live DJs will start several hours before midnight.
Cathedral City’s starts at 7 pm, while the other two kick off at 8 pm. Each party has its ticketing policy.
If you’re a player, Cathedral City’s perks include a $22 free play to use between 10 am and 6 pm on January 1st.
Meanwhile, Palm Springs has entry-only and VIP tickets available (buying tickets early will save you a few bucks), and Rancho Mirage charges $40 per general admission ticket.
Neon Playboys come to Black Oak
While much of the Bay Area is under some of the tightest pandemic protocols in the country, several Northern California casinos provide environments that include live entertainment. The Black Oak Casino Resort, located near Yellowstone National Park, will host a Neon Playboys dance party.
Previously, the band once toured with Eddie Money and covered music ranging from the Commodores to Prince and David Bowie.
Giveaways and music in Northern California
There are several New Year’s Eve giveaways of note going on further north. River Rock Casino in Geyserville, a small town in California’s wine country, will hold a “Bling in the New Year” cash giveaway beginning at 7:30 pm and going through midnight.
They’ll also hold a similar event on January 1st, beginning at 6 pm. In total, the casino could give away $1.5 million over the two days through cash rewards and players who play a game on a special board.
Meanwhile, the Colusa Casino and Resort runs a Midnight Millionaire promotion on New Year’s Eve. There will be drawings held every 30 minutes at the casino, which is located roughly a half-hour north of the state capital of Sacramento. The ticket recipients can win up to one million dollars.
In addition, country music singer Jessie Leigh will take the stage at 9 pm, and her show will go well past midnight.
